The days before Xmas , can be stressful. For me as a pagan it is really wonderful. In my family we created a new way of celebration long time ago. So it is relaxed, full of fun and acctually really being together.  WE don't buy a tree , but ask nature to give us some twigs which will be decorated as we feel it. Last  year we had bats.. as my daughter wanted to have bats on it. I came with butterflys what a wonderful combination. :) Most of the time we will spend just play as grown ups yes... eat when and what we like , get crazy idea's and really leave all the normal day stuff away from our minds and days. We celebrate the winter solstice before Xmas and this will be mostly in a druidic way.  Most of the time we .. or me will go to Avalon and celebrate it there .. with like minded people or alone..  Today I went to Glastonbury and to my delight the Xmas decoration was not to much .. no screaming colours and lights, no inflatable Santa Claus.. wonderful.. The spirit of the time was alive in the air , with the people ..  the magic of Avalon
